On Wednesday, November 6th, MCPIR organized the first webinar with the theme “Crop Protection.”
The program was:
- Introduction of MCPIR by Jaime Ahumada Espinoza, Consultant and Researcher Cannabis at Delphy. He was also the host of this webinar.
- René Corsten, senior Consultant Cannabis at Delphy, talked about Botrytis in Cannabis cultivation. Botrytis, also known as grey mould or bud rot, is a common type of fungus and the most common moisture-related disease in cannabis plants.
- Tom Groot, Manager R& D Macrobials at Koppert, led us through the cannabis aphid, Phorodon cannabis, one of the most important pest problem in cannabis production. In this presentation he talked about the research conducted within Koppert to come to the solution for this pest.
- And there was an opportunity to ask questions.
