After a very successful first event on phenotyping & motherstock, we organized a second session on the latest developments in cannabis research. Besides the live visit to our facility, we offered a knowledge program on:
- How to set up lighting strategies for optimal growth in every growth stage;
- Phenotyping; what’s next in spectral imaging;
- Optimal climate strategies for your cannabis crop.
Because there is so much more to tell, we have decided to organize a series of webinars starting with Crop Protection on Wednesday 6th November at 17:00 CET.
- Introduction of MCPIR by Jaime Ahumada Espinoza, Consultant and Researcher Cannabis at Delphy. He is also the host of this webinar.
- René Corsten, senior Consultant Cannabis at Delphy, will be talking about Botrytis in Cannabis cultivation. Botrytis, also known as grey mould or bud rot, is a common type of fungus and the most common moisture-related disease in cannabis plants.
- Tom Groot, Manager R& D Macrobials at Koppert, will be leading us through the cannabis aphid, Phorodon cannabis, one of the most important pest problem in cannabis production. In this presentation he will talk about the research conducted within Koppert to come to the solution for this pest.
- And of course there will be an opportunity to ask all your burning questions.
After the kick-off in November we will continue with topics like Improving yield and quality with the right climate strategy, Root-aphids, the importance of a good quality of substrate, Fertilization and Light Strategy. Please note that all subsequent webinars are scheduled on a regular base at the first Wednesday of the month.
